Bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard and residents are actively encouraged to bring in personal effects, pictures, ornaments, televisions, radios etc to really make the room their own. Most bedrooms have en-suite toilet facilities. All bedrooms and bathrooms have a nursecall facility.

The Home provides the following communal facilities and equipment for use by residents:-

  • Two lounges, a garden room and a large dining room.
  • A laundry facility
  • A terrace and decked area to enjoy extensive views over the Vale of Evesham and Cotswold Hills.
  • Extensive landscaped gardens with shaded seating areas, fountain, and summerhouse.
  • Four Parker baths one with side opening, three with seated bath hoists and 3 shower rooms.
  • Toilets close to the lounges.
  • Activity equipment, games, books, DVD’s, artist materials.
  • Ramped access front and rear for wheelchair users.
  • Nursecall, TV and telephone points in all bedrooms.
  • Cordless telephone for residents not wishing to have their own telephone.

We have a visiting hairdressers twice a week and regular visits from the optician, chiropodist, and dentist. To help maintain independence residents can purchase toiletries, sweets and small items from our in-house shop, Faye’s Fayre.

Residents have regular meetings every two months in order to have their say in the day to day running of the home, where they would like to go on outings, suggestions for activities and any new ideas for the home.

Residents are supported to take part in everyday activities, to this end sessions for cooking and gardening are held frequently. Residents are able to assist in setting the tables, folding laundry and other domestic duties if they so wish.

We have regular in-house entertainers, speciality shows, music for health, pets as therapy, slide shows, magician, keyboard/vocalist to name but a few.

Residents spiritual needs are met by in-house church services every other week and visits to the local church in Evesham on other weeks.
